Modern Electric Water Company: Residential Efficiency Rebate Program

Modern Electric Water Company offers incentives for its residential customers to upgrade to more energy efficient equipment within eligible homes. Rebates are available for electric water heaters, ductless and air source heat pumps, and Energy Star clothes washers. A rebate form and receipt must be submitted and approved by Modern Electric Water Company before rebate is paid.

For water heaters, Modern Electric has a list of qualified manufactures and model numbers approved by the program located in the main office. A rebate form including proof of purchase and installation must be submitted and approved by Modern Electric Water Company before rebates will be paid. Air source heat pumps must have electric forced air furnaces to qualify for rebates. A contract must be signed by the property owner and MEWCO for the rebate to be processed. Energy Star clothes washe require a proof of purchase, installation, and rebate form before rebates are paid.
