Bristol Tennessee Electric Service (BTES) offers financing to its residential customers to help pay for energy efficient home improvements through the Energy Savings Loan Program. Eligible customers may borrow up to $10,000 for a maximum of 10 years. Eligible items include:
- Inspected Electric heat pumps
- Attic insulation (R19 minimum) and ventilation
- Floor insulation (R19 minimum) and ventilation Insulated replacement windows
- Insulated exterior doors
- Insulated garage doors (automatic garage door openers can be included)
- Electrical service upgrades
- Storm doors
