Salem Electric residential customers with electric water heating are eligible for a $600 rebate through Salem's Bright Way program. The program is funded through the Bonneville Power Administration and systems must meet the BPA's technical guidelines. A program brochure with details is available on the program website. Follow all guidelines and terms in order to receive rebate.
Systems must be installed by a tax credit-certified solar technician.
Instead of the rebate, customers can also apply for a low-interest loan. Customers cannot apply for both the rebate and the low-interest loan.
