Emerald People's Utility District (EPUD) offers several incentives for its residential customers to increase the energy efficiency of homes. EPUD offers rebates for Energy Star rated appliances, heat pumps, insulation, windows, and newly constructed homes. All equipment must meet program requirements in order to be eligible for rebates. Rebate forms and program details are available on the program web site listed above. Rebates are also available for the proper disposal and decommissioning of old refrigerators. The old refrigerator must be at least 14 cu. ft in capacity and verified as functional.
