Tillamook PUD offers residential customers a variety of rebates and loans to make energy efficiency improvements to participating homes.
Loans are available at 5% interest for up to five years for the purchase and installation of heat pumps and for performance duct sealing and testing. In order to receive this loan, customers must submit a loan application and supporting materials, receive bids for recommended work from approved contractors, and receive authorization from the PUD to proceed. To qualify for a rebate or loan under this program, an audit must be done prior to any work being completed.
Rebates and financing are also available for the purchase of Energy Star appliances and Marathon Water Heaters. Tillamook PUD and certain participating stores (All Star Appliance, Homelife Furniture, and Roby's Harbor Bay Furniture and Appliance) have teamed up to offer a loan program with unsecured, one-year unsecured loans with zero-percent financing for up to $2,000 on approved credit for Energy Star appliances. Tillamook PUD and other participating stores (Clark's Plumbing, DeLaval, Inc., and Zuercher Plumbing) have teamed up to offer the same loan program on Marathon water heaters.
