Firelands Electric Cooperative: Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Firelands Electric Cooperative (FEC) is offering rebates on energy efficient equipment to residential customers receiving electric service from FEC. Eligible equipment includes new Geothermal Heat Pumps, Air-Source Heat Pumps, Dual Fuel Heat Pumps, Electric Water Heaters, and HVAC controls. Geothermal and Air-Source Heat Pumps must be new, meet the efficiency requirements of the federal tax credit for Consumer Energy Efficiency standards, and meet all  of FEC's efficiency requirements. Electric Water Heaters must have an Energy Factor of 0.90 or greater. Members who receive rebates must agree to participate in the cooperative's PeakBuster load management program.
