National Grid’s High Efficiency Heating Rebates are offered to gas heating customers in the Upstate New York counties of Albany, Columbia, Fulton, Herkimer, Jefferson, Madison, Montgomery, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Warren and Washington. All equipment must meet certain energy standards provided on the website. Applications are to be completed and sent in after equipment installation. Eligible equipment includes High Efficiency Heating Equipment (boilers and furnaces), Indirect Water Heaters, 7-day programmable thermostats, Home air sealing measures, and Heating insulation/air sealing.
