The National Grid’s New Construction program (open to Granite State Electric Company) offers incentives and technical support to help customers who are building an Energy Star certified home. In addition, the prescriptive rebate programs offers rebates to National Grid's residential customers for the purchase and installation of certain Energy Star certified equipment. Some rebates are given at the time of purchase while others require a mail-in application. See website listed above to find out about specific requirements for the different rebates available.
The Home Energy Solutions Program offers National Grid's New Hampshire residential customers up to $4,000 in services for qualified electric efficiency improvements. This program is available to customers with average electric use of 30 kWh per day or more. A free home energy survey is provided. Incentives are available to replace inefficient lighting and refrigerators and to add insulation in electrically heated homes. For low income customers, the New Hampshire Residential Electric Appliance Management Program provides an analysis and incentives for lighting, refrigerators, insulation, air sealing, and water saving measures.
