Piedmont Electric Membership Corporation (PEMC) offers an incentive to residential customers for residing in an energy efficient home. To qualify, the home must meet the standards of the US Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star-labeled home program and be verified by a registered third party. Eligible houses will receive a discount on monthly electric bills from PEMC. A variety of discount rates may apply to eligible homes.
