Carteret Craven Electric Cooperative (CCEC) offers a variety of energy efficiency rebates to residential customers. Rebates are available on dishwashers, clothes washers, refrigerators, freezers, Energy Star new homes, air-source heat pumps, and ground source heat pumps. All appliances must be Energy Star in order to qualify for the program. New homes homes must also meet Energy Star standards in order to receive rebates. CCEC can also assist customers through a $100 energy audit. Through the state of North Carolina, customers of CCEC can also receive a $1,500 incentive for purchasing an Energy Star Manufactured Home. Customers may visit the web site listed above to view program details and a CCEC program brochure.
