Southwest Electric Cooperative: Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Southwest Electric Cooperative offers the appliance and heating rebate program for residential customers to save energy in participating homes. This program offers rebates for customers who buy Energy Star rated clothes washers, dishwashers, geothermal heat pumps, and dual fuel heat pumps. For clothes washers and dishwashers, the rebate applies only to the replacement of an existing unit with a new Energy Star unit and only if attached to an electric water heater. Heat pump rebates apply to new construction or replacement of an already existing heating system. An application form must be submitted to the utility, along with a copy of the original dated sales receipt, within 90 days of product purchase date.
