Co-Mo Electric Cooperative: Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Co-Mo Electric Cooperative provides rebates to residential members who install air source heat pumps, geothermal heat pumps, and certain energy efficient appliances. The geothermal rebate is up to $250 per ton for an open loop system and $850 for a closed loop. The air source heat pump rebate is $200 per ton, or $150 if an older, less efficient dual fuel air source system is being replaced. The new air source heat pump must be Energy Star certified with a SEER rating of 15.5 or higher. Heat pumps that receive rebates may be subject to Co-Mo Load Control Programs. The Energy Saving Home Appliance Rebate Program offers rebates on Energy Star clothes washers, dishwashers, window air conditioners, and electric tank water heaters. Rebates are $100 for clothes washers and $50 each for all other appliances. Details can be found in the appliance rebate application.
