Willmar Municipal Utilities: Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Willmar Municipal Utilities offer rebates on Energy Star rated appliances, air conditioners and Marathon water heaters. All equipment must be ENERGY STAR rated unless otherwise specified and equipment must meet program requirements. In addition to these rebates, WMU also offers a Load Sharing Program and several peak-shaving incentives. Participating customers can receive a $10 per month credit on electric bills if they allow their water heaters to be energized only from 11:00 PM until 7:00 AM, and free load shifting equipment for air conditioners.
