The Coldwater Board of Public Utilities (CBPU) offers a variety of rebates for the adoption of energy efficient residential equipment. These incentives are made available through the Consumer Rebate Program and apply to qualifying refrigerators, room air conditioners, windows, central air conditioning systems, ECM furnaces, clothes washers, dehumidifiers, and ceiling fans. Home Energy audits are also supported through this program. All applications must be postmarked within 60 calendar days of the purchase date in order to be eligible for a rebate. Fill out the application after purchase and installation of equipment. Customers must include an original proof of purchase, such as an invoice or receipt, upon submitting an application. Funding is limited and rebates are not guaranteed. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Contact CBPU or visit the program web site for any other details on this program.
