The Baltimore Gas & Electric Company (BGE) offers the Smart Energy Savers Program for its residential customers to improve the energy efficiency of their homes. Rebates are available for Energy Star clothes washers, refrigerators, freezers, CFLs, HVAC, and Building Insulation. The Home Performance with Energy Star Incentive Program also provides residential incentives including envelope and HVAC up to $2450. The CFL rebates are given in the form of a marked-down price at participating retailers.

BGE’s Limited Income Energy Efficiency Program also provides income-qualified homeowners a variety of energy-saving services and quality home improvements.
