Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant: Residential PV Rebate Program

Customers of Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant (TMLP) may be eligible for $2.00/watt rebate on solar photovoltaic (PV) installations in 2011. The minimum system size eligible for this rebate is 1 kilowatt (kW) and there is no stated maximum, but only the first 2.5 kW of a system will receive a rebate. The minimum rebate is therefore $2,000 and the maximum rebate is $5,000. The customer must be the owner of the PV system and be current on his/her electric bill. This is a first-come, first-served program with a limited budget, so customers are encouraged to verify funding levels prior to making financial decisions.
