Reading Municipal Light Department (RMLD) offers rebates to residential customers who install Energy Star appliances in eligible homes. Eligible appliances include:
- washing machines
- dishwashers
- refrigerators
- dehumidifiers
- central A/C
- room A/C
- programmable thermostats
The offer is limited to one rebate per appliance or a maximum of two rebates for programmable thermostats. Rebates are subject to change and the availability of funding. More information and the rebate application form may be found at the web site listed above.
