Chicopee Electric Light (CEL) offers a variety of incentives for its residential customers to increase the energy efficiency of participating homes. CEL provides rebates for up to four energy-efficient appliances with a maximum rebate amount of $250 in one year. The purchase price of these appliances must be greater than twice the rebate amount sought for the appliance, and the rebate offer cannot be combined with any other rebates or offers. Customers may view the application form on the program website listed above. CEL also provides an insulation rebate of 30% of the installed cost up to a maximum reimbursement of $300.
