Cape Light Compact (CLC) offers a variety of financial incentives to customers for purchasing energy efficient residential equipment. All residential customers can qualify for incentives on weatherization measures, solar water heaters, central AC systems, heat pumps, refrigerators and appliances. Installation of a central AC systems and heat pumps must be performed by a pre-approved contractor, who will provide the rebate form. If customers install 3 or more qualified systems per electric account, Cape Light Compact will request pre-approval as well. Customers may also inquire about installing a Home Energy Monitoring system as part of a pilot program to help residential customers lower energy usage.
All other incentives are offered only in conjunction with a free-of-charge Home Energy Audit, which can be scheduled by calling 1-800-797-6699. Various additional incentives may be available to CLC customers through the MassSave Program.
