In conjunction with Gas Networks, New England Gas Company offers its residential and commercial customers rebates for buying infrared heating equipment and heating systems, high efficiency water heaters, thermostats and efficient furnaces. All equipment must meet certain energy efficient standards listed on the program application.

Residential customers can also participate in the MassSaves program. In this program a representative from New England Gas Company will perform an energy audit and will then pay 75% of the total cost (up to $2,000) of purchasing and installing the recommended measures.
