Poudre Valley REA: Photovoltaic Rebate Program

Poudre Valley REC is providing rebates to their residential customers who install photovoltaic (PV) systems on their homes. This rebate program was timed to coincide with the Colorado Governor's Energy Office's (GEO) state-wide rebate program, and Poudre Valley REC customers are permitted to receive both rebates. Before receiving a rebate, applicants must have an energy audit of their home that includes a blower door test. The audit must be completed by a RESNET or BPI certified auditor. Recipient’s homes must have minimum insulation levels of R-38 for attics and ceilings, R- 13 for walls, and R-10 for footer and foundation insulation. Poudre Valley REC had limited funding for this program during 2011 and awarded rebates on a first-come, first served basis until the funding was exhausted. Applications for future funding are encouraged and will be placed in a queue in the order received.
