Roaring Fork Valley: Energy Smart Program

Residents of Eagle, Pitkin and Gunnison Counties can participate in the Energy Smart Program. The Energy Smart Program helps residents identify, finance, and complete energy improvements in their homes. Interested homeowners can schedule a reduced cost home energy assessment with a qualified Energy Analyst who will come to the home and perform a comprehensive home safety and energy assessment.

There are also a variety of free improvements the Energy Analyst may install at the time of the assessment including thermostats, pipe wrap, weatherstripping and more. The homeowner may also be eligible to receive an Energy Smart rebate for 20% of the total costs of efficiency opportunities identified by the analyst, up to $200. Participants have free access to a Home Energy Advisor to assist with additional incentives and technical support.
