San Miguel Power Association: Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

San Miguel Power Association (SMPA) offers a variety of rebates to customers for the purchase and installation of energy efficient equipment and appliances. Both residential and commercial customers are eligible to participate in this program. Eligible equipment includes ground source heat pumps, water heaters, refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, dishwashers, electric motors, and lighting measures. All purchased appliances must be EnergyStar rated in order to qualify. To participate, fill out the Energy Efficiency Credit Application within 180 days of the installation and provide proof of purchase for specified equipment. Rebates will be dispensed to customers through a one-time check. Customers may contact the nearest district SMPA office or visit the web site listed above for more information on this program.
