This program has been suspended as of October 2011. Applications received after the suspension are being placed on a wait list. New funding may be available when the new fiscal year starts on July 1, 2012. See website above for more information. The Solar Solutions program provides all customer groups with an incentive to install photovoltaic (PV) systems on their homes and buildings. Rebate levels will decrease over time on an annual basis. The rebate levels for future program years can be seen at the website listed above. The rebate levels for FY 2011 are $2.00 per watt (up to 50% of total costs) for the installation of a photovoltaic (PV) system of a size less than or equal to 30kW. The performance-based incentive (PBI) for larger systems is fully reserved at this time. Until such time that PBI funds are again available, systems larger than 30 kW may apply for a one-time rebate of $2.00 per watt for the first 30 kW. Systems installed at qualified affordable housing projects are eligible to receive larger incentives. Systems must be sized to produce no more than 100% of the customer’s past 12 months kWh consumption. More Information: Glendale Water and Power Website
