Funding for commercial and industrial incentives has been fully exhausted through July 2012 at the earliest.
Azusa Light & Water provides rebates to customers who install photovoltaic (PV) systems through the utility's Solar Partnership Program. The rebate amount is partially determined by the ownership of the renewable energy credits (REC) associated with the system. If the customer elects to retain ownership of the RECs, the customer will receive the lower rebate amount of $2.25 per watt for systems installed in 2011. The higher rebate amount for 2011 of $2.75 per watt is available to customers who transfer REC ownership to Azusa Light & Water. In keeping with the terms established by the California Solar Initiative, these incentive levels will decrease by $0.40 per watt annually during the life of the program.
