EnergySavvy Culture and Benefits
EnergySavvy is based in Seattle, Washington, the land of coffee, software and outdoor activities. It's a great place to live and work.
We're building our team for the long haul, so we offer many of the benefits you'd get from a larger company and many you'll find only at a startup.
Developer Friendly Culture
We deploy in one click, run continuous integration unit tests and contribute back to open source projects. Our servers run Linux, and our developers run Mac, Linux or Windows.
Lunch Is On Us
Don't worry, it's not Ramen every day. We keep our kitchen stocked with snacks and drinks and order from a medley of Capitol Hill restaurants: Indian, Thai, sushi and sandwiches just to name a few.
Sweet Neighborhood
That's a shot of our view. Our office at 12th and Pike is in the middle of Seattle's most eclectic restaurants, bars, cafes and stores. In the summer we go down to Cal Anderson park to eat our lunches.
No Burnout
We work hard. We have high expectations. But death marches suck. We know that it takes balanced and rested people to do great work and hit the high notes.
Health Insurance
Life happens, and we all get sick sometimes. EnergySavvy gives you a comprehensive health insurance plan including medical, dental and vision.
Wonderful Office
We enjoy a cube-free open layout with the Seattle skyline as a backdrop. It's just better to work in an office with beautiful hardwood floors, high ceilings and gobs of natural light.
Enlightened Time Off Policy
You start with two weeks of vacation and earn more from there. We're very reasonable with sick and personal days as well.
We Love Kids
And if you make new ones, you can get parental leave: some paid, some unpaid and some part time.
Random Fun
Last summer we took an impromptu day trip to West Seattle for frisbee and drinks. More recently we held a beer and board game night. Next we're planning a ski day.
