Start Smart Energy Use, LLC performs a comprehensive inspection of your home, applicable diagnostic testing (Combustion Appliance, Blower Door, Thermal Imaging), and a utility use breakout analysis in accordance with BPI protocol for detached homes up to three stories in conjunction with D.O.E. approved TREAT Energy Modeling Software.

Our objective is to develop proactive Energy Conservation strategies specific to your structure and use habits which allow you to realize your potential for energy savings, improve the comfort, health, and safety of your home, reduce your impact on our environment, and help you to manage your most valuable asset.

We provide several energy conservation options with cost estimates, and Return-On-Investment projections to help you determine the best course of action.

Additionally, we offer Project Management Services, and can act as your Representative in order to prepare for and assist you through the improvements.  We also provide Test-Out verification services upon completion.

In some cases we also perform some of the smaller improvements (targeted air sealing, weather-stripping, lighting upgrades(CFL's), programmable thermostat, etc) that most homeowners typically can do themselves, but may not be able to do for various reasons.
