Contractor Details

Action Energy Consultants will provide all of the following services: (and more)

An on-site inspection to inventory and evaluate energy consuming equipment
including appliances, hot water tanks, refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, lighting,
dehumidifiers, etc.

A blower door test to quantify air leakage and suggest appropriate air-sealing
measures. A second test should be conducted if air-sealing is included in the
rehabilitation project to assure that there is adequate ventilation in the home.

An evaluation of insulation levels in attics, ceilings, walls and floors and
recommendations for cost-effective improvements.

An evaluation of window and door conditions and recommendations for cost-effective
improvements.

A combustion analysis of the central heating system and domestic hot water system
to evaluate efficiency and safety and recommend cost-effective improvements.

A written report should be provided with detailed recommendations that can be incorporated into the work writeup that will be prepared for each property.

Reports are generated through the use of TREAT software. We can provide an additional summary of the audit that will serve to clarify our findings. We want to work closely with the customer to ensure that we are generating the correct reports for their application.
