Through this partnership we will be able to bring to your project the latest in diagnostic testing of your homes environment.  AHEC will enhance your project through the performance of a comprehensive energy audit.   Combustion appliances will be tested for safety, and performance, your house will be depressurized and tested for leakage (air/vapor barrier test) and thermal imaging will be utilized to “see through walls” and detect any deficiencies in the thermal, moisture and vapor boundaries.  For safety and to determine heating and cooling losses our “blower door” depressurization test allows us to measure the amount of air infiltrating and exhausting through your home.  Once weatherization tactics and other prescriptive measures have been employed your home will be re-evaluated to ensure health and safety and when indicated mechanical means of ventilation will be employed.
