“EnergySavvy Online Audit for Programs” Launches!

We’re thrilled to announce the official launch of a new product, EnergySavvy for Programs.

Since our website launched in February, we’ve helped over 10,000 people learn about the efficiency of their homes through our online energy audit tool. We’ve tuned and improved the user experience to create a modern, useful online energy audit tool that homeowners love. Along the way, dozens of utilities and other energy efficiency programs have asked us about using our tool for their programs. We listened and we got to work.

This week we’re proud to announce the launch of our EnergySavvy for Programs offering. Energy efficiency programs across the country can now use the EnergySavvy online audit tool in their own websites automatically incorporating local weather information and nationwide utility rate data. We’re especially proud to announce the two organizations we are launching with:

  • Utah Home Performance: Alongside our partners PECI and Nexant, we’re powering Utah’s new Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program. The EnergySavvy online audit tool allows the program to quickly and easily identify good candidates for the program, which offers rebates up to $2,000 for homes that can achieve a total energy savings of 20% or more from an energy retrofit.
  • Energy Trust of Oregon: EnergySavvy’s online audit tool will be used as a self-serve pre-diagnosis tool to quickly give homeowners information about their home and guide them on EnergyTrust’s website to the services and incentives that make the most sense for each home based on its unique situation.
