If you are a customer of Longmont Power and Communications you may be eligible for an ENERGY STAR dishwasher rebate of $50. You must apply for the rebate within 90 days of purchase, and the rebate will be credited to your utility bill.
If you are a SourceGas customer, you may qualify for a furnace rebate through their Excess is Out program. Gas furnaces with AFUE values of 92 to 93.9 percent qualify for a rebate of $200, whereas, furnaces with AFUE values of 94 percent or higher qualify for a rebate of $300. To be eligible, you must submit an application within 60 days of equipment purchase.
Also, if you are interested in upgrading your furnace, you may also benefit from improvements to your home's envelope, such as insulation, which can increase your heating system's efficiency. Electric and gas customers of Xcel Energy may qualify for insulation rebates equal to 20 percent of the total labor and equipment costs, up to a maximum rebate of $300. Additionally, the Colorado Governor's Energy Office (GEO) is offering an insulation rebate of up to $100 to homeowners.
