There are a few different rebate programs for energy-efficient furnaces to choose from in Utah, including Questar's ThermWise program, which offers $300 rebates to customers who install gas furnaces that are at least 90 percent efficient and $400 for customers who install high efficiency gas boilers with an AFUE rating of 85 percent or higher.

In addition to the Questar Gas rebate, you may also be eligible for the Utah Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program, which offers to cover 50 percent of all energy efficiency upgrades (based on an energy analysis) up to a total of $2,000 in rebates on upgrades such as efficient furnaces, insulation, air sealing and more.
