Can I receive both the Pennsylvania Home Heating Equipment Rebate and the federal Residential Energy Efficiency Tax Credit for new heating appliances?

The Pennsylvania Home Heating Equipment Rebate is no longer available. If you purchase heating equipment that qualifies for the federal Energy Efficiency Tax Credit, you'll be able to take advantage of that incentive through 2010.

Products that are eligible for the federal tax credit:

• Gas Tankless Water Heaters with an Energy Factor of 0.82 or better


• Gas or Oil Boilers with an AFUE rating or 90 or better


• Gas Furnace with an AFUE of 95 or better


• Oil Furnace with an AFUE of 90 or better
