In Bucks County, there are two different rebate programs for ENERGY STAR clothes washers.

PECO electric customers are eligible for an energy efficient appliance rebate of $100 for ENERGY STAR washing machines.

PPL electric customers are eligible for a rebate of $75 for ENERGY STAR clothes washers. For both programs, washers must have MEF values of 1.8 or higher and WF values of 7.5 or lower.

On Jan. 1, 2011, ENERGY STAR's specifications for clothes washers will change to MEF values of 2.0 or higher and WF value of 6.0 or lower.
