MassSave's energy efficiency rebate and incentive programs are designed to begin with an energy assessment, also known as an energy audit, in order to look at a home as a whole system. One MassSave incentive you may want to take advantage of is the HEAT Loan Low Interest Financing, which offers loans up to $15,000 with no interest for seven years. Some of the eligible improvements include added insulation, hot water heaters, high-efficiency heating systems and ENERGY STAR window replacements.

There are also rebates available for heating and cooling appliances through the Central Air Conditioner or Heat Pump program. An eligible contractor will also need to install these appliances in order to qualify.

You may also be eligible for a $50 rebate for purchasing an ENERGY STAR qualified refrigerator or freezer and another $50 for recycling your old refrigerator or freezer.
