If you're a Questar Gas customer with a gas water heater, you can receive a $75 rebate for purchasing an ENERGY STAR clothes washer with an MEF rating of 2 or higher. Clothes washers with an MEF rating of 1.8 to 1.99 are eligible for a $50 rebate. Gas clothes dryers also qualify for a $30 rebates through Questar's rebate program.

Through Rocky Mountain Power's Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program, customers can receive rebates of up to $75 for purchasing ENERGY STAR clothes washers. To receive the full $75 rebate, customers must purchase a clothes washer with a MEF rating or 2 or higher. Washers with an MEF rating of 1.72 to 1.99 are eligible for a $50 rebate.

Coming soon: Utah is expected to begin an ENERGY STAR appliance rebate program at the end of April 2010. The program will offer rebates on ENEGY STAR clothes washers, room air conditioners, water heaters and gas furnaces. The program details have not been finalized, but check back with EnergySavvy to for more details once the program gets started.
