Florida’s ENERGY STAR rebate program begins April 16, 2010 and lasts until April 25, 2010. Within that time frame, you can buy ENERGY STAR gas tankless water heaters, clothes washers, refrigerators, dishwashers, room air conditioners and freezers and receive a rebate equal to 20 percent of the cost.

In order to apply for the rebate, you will need to mail in an application. However, the rebate application is not available yet. When it is available, you will most likely be able to download it on the Florida Energy & Climate Commission’s website.
