SoCal Gas offers the Residential Energy Efficiency Loan Program to customers who want to make efficiency upgrades to their homes, including new, energy-efficient windows, heating and cooling systems, insulation, roofing and more. The loans range from $2,500 to $20,000 with terms up to 10 years.

Additionally, the Residential Energy Efficiency Tax Credit will cover up to $1,500 or 30 Percent of the cost of installing ENERGY STAR windows with a U factor of 0.30 or less and an SHGC of 0.30 or less. This tax credit includes windows, doors and skylights.
