Beginning April 16, 2010, Florida will offer a 20 percent rebate off of ENERGY STAR refrigerators, as well as ENERGY STAR clothes washers, gas tankless water heaters, dishwashers, room air conditioners and freezers. This rebate program is set to end April 25, 2010, so you will need to make sure to buy your new refrigerator and/or other appliances within this timeframe to receive your rebate.

If you decide to buy gas tankless water heater as well and you’re a Florida Public Utilities customer, you may also be eligible for Florida Public Utility’s Energy Efficiency Rebate Program. This program offers up to $825 for replacing an electric water heater with a gas tankless water heater.
