What financing for energy efficiency measures is there for 3 unit multifamily homes in Boston? I would like to replace one of the furnaces. Are there energy rebates?

EnergySavvy’s focus at this time is only single-family homes, so our website may be lacking information about the different incentives and financing available for multifamily home projects. However, the MassSave program is available to multifamily homes.

Through the MassSave program, you may be able to take advantage of Heat Loan Program, which is a zero interest loan of up to $15,000. Measures that qualify for the loan include attic, wall and basement insulation; high efficiency heating and hot water systems; solar water heating systems; ENERGY STAR Windows; and ENERGY STAR Thermostats.

To qualify for the program, you’ll need to start with a free energy audit. Let us know if you’d like us to connect you to a MassSave contractor in your area.
