Seattle City Light offers discounted energy audits at $95 per audit through a rebate program for its customers. For now, if you're a Puget Sound Energy customer, you can get a $350 rebate for having your home audited. Contact PSE to find out how to take advantage of this rebate.

Audits vary depending on the size of a home, but auditors in the Seattle area normally charge around $600 for a 2,000 square foot home with a gas water heater and gas furnace. With PSE’s rebate, an audit would cost around $250, which can easily be recouped in savings on your utility bills after you make some of the simplest upgrades the auditor suggests, like air sealing and insulating.
