Aaron Goldfeder: CEO and co-founder
Aaron is responsible for the overall strategy and growth of EnergySavvy. Aaron serves on the BPI HPXML technical working group and the Efficiency First technology committee. As an author and speaker, Aaron is increasingly recognized as a leader in delivering energy efficiency. He is a former Principal Group Program Manager at Microsoft, where he was a key leader on Internet Explorer, Windows XP, Local Search and a Microsoft Internal Cloud Services Platform. Aaron holds seven patents, loves to snowboard and eat Asian food. Aaron earned a MS and BS in mathematics from the University of Washington and Florida, respectively.
Leo Shklovskii: CTO and co-founder
Leo is responsible for the overall technology and user experience strategy and process for EnergySavvy. Under his leadership, our product has received rave reviews and considerable imitation. He worked as a developer focused on web applications at Amazon.com, Redfin and D.E. Shaw. He created novel and effective data visualization at Amazon and performed critical architectural and scaling work at Redfin and Amazon. Leo loves to absorb new technologies, push boundaries and play ultimate frisbee. Leo holds a BS in computer science from Yale University.
Scott Case: VP Product Management
Scott leads EnergySavvy's product strategy and ensures that we blend innovation and customer needs to achieve breakthrough solutions. He has authored numerous industry articles on consumer engagement with home energy efficiency and is frequently sought as a speaker on the topic. Scott's expertise in online marketing and software product management stems from his five years at aQuantive (acquired by Microsoft), where he managed the development of aQuantive's ad serving tools. Scott holds an MBA from MIT and a BA degree in political science and economics from Williams College.
Tom DuBos: Director Business Development
Tom is responsible for EnergySavvy's new business development. Tom joined us from Apogee Interactive, where he also worked in business development for six years. Prior to Apogee, he worked for GoodCents and also EnVinta in deployment of their One-2-Five Energy program. Tom has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University. He currently serves on the board of directors for AESP and as the vice-chair of local chapters. He is active in the Northwest Public Power Association and Western Energy Institute and has been a speaker at national and regional conferences presenting on online applications, customer engagement and program implementation.
Rob McGarty: Director Client Solutions
Rob leads client solutions for EnergySavvy, ensuring that our software and marketing innovations fit our customers and drive measureable results. Rob has over 13 years of experience optimizing business use of technology solutions. He started his career developing software to transition Fortune 500 food manufacturers from clipboards to barcode scanners with real-time metrics. He later joined the founding team of Redfin and modernized the $60 billion real estate industry by sharing data and reducing fees. Rob holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington.
Charlie Ellis: Director of Program Management
Charlie owns defining great products that are focused on our customers' needs. His work spans the whole software lifecycle from initial data analysis to creating roadmaps down to prioritizing individual features. Having been a Principal Lead Program Manager on both Excel and SharePoint Online in his eleven years at Microsoft has given him a unique expertise in designing products for end users and taking advantage of scalable cloud services. Charlie holds patents for features in business intelligence and Excel's formula language along with other user experience and technical design innovations. Charlie has a BA in Computer Science from Swarthmore College.

Karl Siebrecht: Chairman and co-founder
Karl is a founding board member of EnergySavvy and is the CEO of AdReady, a venture backed advertising technology company focused on helping mid-size to large advertisers and agencies. Before founding EnergySavvy and joining AdReady, he was general manager in charge of ad platform product management, search and display marketing, and mobile and gaming advertising for Microsoft. Previously, Karl was president of Atlas at aQuantive, before its $6B acquisition by Microsoft—the largest purchase in Microsoft's history. Prior to aQuantive, Karl was a manager at Bain & Company, a strategic consulting firm in Boston, MA. He also spent four years in the United States Navy as a Diving Officer. Karl earned an MBA with honors from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College, and a BA in economics from Duke University. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of King FM and EnergySavvy.com in Seattle.
Mike Galgon: Board Member
Perceiving that online advertising was not advancing rapidly enough to meet the demands of marketers, Mike Galgon co-founded aQuantive, Inc. (formerly Avenue A, Inc.) in 1997 to drive the development of digital marketing and technology. As president and general manager of Avenue A from 1997 to 1999, he led the creation and execution of the company's business plan. Mike also served as acting chief technology officer for the company's Atlas DMT business unit from 2001 to 2002. Later, as aQuantive's chief strategy officer, Mike oversaw the company's strategic direction, including business development initiatives and marketing efforts. Prior to founding aQuantive, Mike served as an officer in the U.S. Navy from 1990 to 1994 and spent one year as a full-time volunteer with Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA). He holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and an AB in economics from Duke University.

Advisers
Michael Blasnik: Technical
Michael is an expert in statistical analysis of utility billing and energy usage data, assessment and refinement of engineering algorithms for predicting energy usage and savings, and the mathematical modeling of building performance. In addition, he is a noted national expert with 25 years experience working with utilities, private industry and government agencies.
Aaron Fairchild: Residential Energy Financing
Aaron has been working for the past four years to create energy-efficient consumer financing solutions for existing buildings. He serves on the mayor's "Existing Buildings, Green Building" task force and is a consultant to ShoreBank Enterprise Cascadia on the development of a revolving loan fund for residential energy-efficient retrofits. He recently worked in the Residential Energy Efficiency Department of Puget Sound Energy.
David Bangs: Home Performance
David Bangs, a former Microsoft engineer and manager, is heavily involved in home performance companies as an investor and industry organizer. He is a member of the Northwest Energy Angels and an advisor to several VC funds on residential energy issues. David is the founder of Home Performance Washington, chairs Efficiency First's state and local action committee and serves on the Union of Concerned Scientists national advisory board.
